A civil ceremony can be over in twenty minutes, but those minutes matter. The walk in, the vows, the signing and the first moments as a married couple all happen quickly, and there is no second take.
We check the register office's rules on photography before the day, arrive early, and keep a low profile during the ceremony. Afterwards we take you for relaxed portraits nearby, then on to your meal or celebration if you would like us there.

Most register offices allow photography, but rules vary. We check with the registrar beforehand and always follow their guidance.
Many couples book 2 to 4 hours, covering the ceremony, portraits and the start of their meal. We will suggest what suits your plans.
