Morden Hall's 18th-century country house sits inside 125 acres of National Trust parkland beside the River Wandle in South London — one of those rare wedding venues that feels miles from the city while still being inside it. We were there recently to photograph and film a full day of celebrations for the bride and groom, from getting ready through to an evening reception in the house's elegant reception rooms.
Partway through the day, the guest list held a genuine surprise: Sadiq Khan, the Mayor of London, joined the couple's family and friends to celebrate with them. Our approach to every wedding is the same regardless of who's in the room — capture the day as it actually happens, respectfully and without disruption — and it was a real honour to also come away with a personal photo together.

Moments like this are part of why we love what we do — every wedding we shoot is someone's most important day, and every so often it comes with a story worth telling. If you're planning a wedding at Morden Hall, or anywhere else across London and Kent, we'd love to hear from you.
